Job

Guess who is your newest certified nursing assitant at the new Martha Jefferson hospital? This girl right HERE! :)
Yesterday morning I had an appointment with the nurse that hires on her floor( which also happens to be my moms best friend's sister), and this morning I had a second interview with two of her coworkers(one happened to be my moms best friend :))

It went great! My heebie jeebies were all for nothing it seems. As soon as we got on the elevator this morning I was told I had the job!

It will be hard to do night shift, adjust to a new schedule, new people, and the everchanging environment, but I know that with my own self-determination adn the lord's guidance I will do just fine!

I'm so sad to leave my sweet Cy! He is such a good baybay! I hope to still watch him one or two days a week, depending on my schedule!

Graduated AND Growing up....all in less than a month

It's true kiddos. Believe it or not, this girl has graduated! With an advacned studies diploma at that!

That was 3 weeks ago... and I've done a lot of growing up since then.


First, I had a graduation partayyy. It was a great time with GREAT friends and family. Except that storm that came through. That was not so fun.






Then the next weekend my grandmother passed away unexpectedly. It has hit my family hard, especially my mom, but we are gonna be okay :)
We know she is in heaven now having a grand old time with ehr dear friends and my grandfather.

Then yesterday.... I GOT A CALL! I have a job interview tomorrow morning at Martha Jefferson Hospital! It is a nursing assitant position! I hope to get 3-12 hour shifts, and then work night shift for extra moolah to get my own place.

Life Happens

I know I know, I promised moer often, and that has already failed. But I do have reasons(aka excuses)

1. I've been living a fun life
2. The week I was off happened to be my exam week, so I was swamped with studying galore
3. Facebook

Facebook is so addicting. I could spend hours on there a day, and these days I probably will.
One class over the summer will make for one very bored girl.
I will work of course, but theremay be a BIG change there!

Last night I went to see Josh Thompson and Cody Purvis in concert. What a lucky girl I am :)

I'm going on a cruise in October! Bermuda here I come! I've been blessed enough to get a balcony room! I had planned on one with a big window, but instead my aunt's sister is paying the extra money for me to room with her!

God has blessed me with so many opprotunities to see the world lately!

I figure now is the best time to explore too before I even consider kids!
If only I had a man to share the experiences with though! I am not rushing it though, because I know God has a plan for me, and finding the right man foe me is included in that.

My infatiation currently doesn't hurt though!
I'm hoping this infatuation will become more than it is :)



Graduation is SO close! I cannot believe that I am about to get my diploma. I feel so accomplished to have gotten my advanced studies diploma also.
I guess I should probably get my cap and gown before it is too late! I ordered it of course, I just ahven't picked it up yet since I don't actually go to CHS daily anymore. Or weekly, or even monthly!

I feel so blessed to also have been given the opprotunity to spend my senior year at PVCC. I have thorougly enjoyed getting to further my education this year!

Where to start?!

I know, I know.I fail when it comes to posting blog posts reguarly. At least I will admit it!
I actually have a goal to post more often, at least once a week :)
With all the time I will now have, I suppose there is no excuse why I can't.

Why do I have this time you ask? It's a real unfortunate story I must say.

I applied to Piedmont's nursing program back in Feb, and after waiting TWO whole months, I found out that I didn't get in. But.... I think that is okay. I understand that God won't give me anything I can't handle, and that he has a plan for me!

So now for the summer and fall I have two classes to take! Oh the free time I will have... except not really.
Since I did not get into the program this year, I think I may pick up a CNA job at least part-time.
There is also a big chance of doing Mary Kay! Any buyers? :)

But... most likely if I get a CNA job I have to leave this hunk of love I like to call my little boyfriend.

Like or Dislike?

As many know, Facebook has a "like" button. Now thiere is a big uproar to get a dislike button. After some serious thinking, I began to wonder, what can I truly say are my likes and dislikes? and also, when someone likes a facebook status, are they liking it just because of the person who put it up, or do they truly like that the status's words entailed?

Babies

Disclaimer: Random post ahead, anything you may read has the posibility of being the randomest or silliest thing you've heard all day!


EVERYWHERE I am now all I see is babies. Recently that's all I've babysat too. It's fine to babysit a baby and their older sibling, but just a baby is flat out boring. I'm sorry if any of the people I babysit for with babies read this, I love all the kids I babysit! I just deal better with older kids, and I love to use my imagination with them! And coloring is a personal favorite of mine, and if you try to do that with a baby you either a) get looked at funny or b) the baby tries to do it if they can get ahold of your utensils and makes a mess

Last night I babysat the precious triplets and it made me realize just how much I miss watching bigger kids. They are so much more creative, and you can do more with them! I love me some toddlers! 3 or 4 year olds are best! :)


Classes at PVCC start monday, but I start Tuesday :) I still havent sold my books from over the summer! Hello Craiglist and if I have to Ebay. I don't care if I sell them cheap, I just want them gone. Plus, the money will be going towards NYC, Nashville, and black friday :) My birthday and Christmas are right around then which I hope helps. ;) And its my 18th which should make it better!

My new obsession: Sex and the City
At the beginning of the summer I was watching Gilmore Girls, but now I'm watching Sex and the City 1) because I finished all 7 seasons of Girlmore Girls and 2) I got the first 6 seasons of Sex and the City on Black Friday dirt cheap!

I promised myself I wouldn't fall head over heels for that boy again this summer.....but I did. Something about him makes it impossible for me not to like him! In a week he will be gone, and I'll be sad again. Thank goodness I'll have class and babysitting to keep my mind sorta off him. I wanna tell him how I feel, but it would be too weird. ugh!


Off to find some entertainment while I babysit this 9 month old! (This baby is cute, but I still hold my big kids are cooler opinion!)
